Facing AIDS One Community at a Time - Central Alabama AIDS Resource & Advocacy Center, Inc
About Us

    Our mission is to serve individuals, families and communities in Central Alabama and the Black Belt areas through meaningful HIV/AIDS prevention education programs and direct supportive services performed with compassion and care to those living with HIV/AIDS. We strive to promote hope, tolerance and social justice for all people affected by HIV/AIDS.

    We serve 25 counties, which include 17 black belt counties in Alabama.  The counties we serve are Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Butler, Chambers, Choctaw, Chilton, Coosa, Crenshaw, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Monroe, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Russell, Sumter, Tallapoosa and Wilcox.   
     We offer free HIV community education programs, free condom distribution, linkage to free HIV testing, and free referrals to HIV community based organizations for those living with HIV and needing medical assistance and supportive services.
